Folium Lobby’s design concept was based on Nature. “Connecting to nature from interiors has always been my ambition.” My goal was to create a modern, unique and timeless design and to link all the main elements inspired by nature (greens, tree, garden and ocean).

The spirit of the concept was born from a beautiful artistic tree at the entrance flowing throughout the ceiling with illuminated layers to create visual interest and architectural focal point. Design and execution of this tree was challenging yet rewarding at the end.

The Foyer entrance highlighted by a fresh green preserved Moss wall energized with a contemporary flare of a customized modern concierge desk created a welcoming feel to the lobby.

Innovative material of artistic textured cast glass in hand washed blue tones represented the OCEAN and the beautiful Mah Jong by roche bobois tailored in vibrant and refined Missoni Home fabric collection resembled the GARDEN & FLOWERS complemented by exquisite Iron Tree cocktail table collection, hand-made by an artisan who weaves several continuous meters of stainless steel wire around the structure to create a stunning table inspired by tree trunk.

Luxurious white stone slabs were used throughout the space to create a clean and minimalistic interior and let the colors pop out.

FOLIUM RESIDENTIAL

Folium was featured in iBBi as one the best creative modern luxury high rises and awarded for Interior Architectural Design. This year it’s nominated for Lobby/Public Areas in The International Hotel & Property Awards.

My goal was to create timeless & luxurious modern interiors.

I was inspired by exquisite onyx slabs and had fun exploring a variety of innovative materials combining them with architectural details in order to radiate authenticity and tranquility in my designs.

All the elements in this open concept was thoughtfully designed with a contemporary flare, then customized by various elegant materials and techniques to exceed client’s expectations and to create a landmark.

After countless hours of extensive planning with love and passion, and focusing to think outside the box, I decided to combine different design elements in order to create spaces that are both aesthetical & functional.

Created an elegant, yet minimalistic and sophisticated ambiance for entertaining. Luxurious white & grey book match marble slabs next to concrete wall in the family room.
Elegant black curved glass columns highlighted by accent lights and beautiful white pebbles were strong architectural features in the living/dining ambiance.
Fireplace design incorporated with display, ceiling designs with creative lighting ideas, combination of stunning lit onyx slabs into architectural features and vanities, hand crafted and customized closets, displays, barbeque, unique bathroom vanities, minimalistic Kitchen with hidden Wok highlighted by geometric & angular island, TV unit divider consists of display to showcase sculptures and flower box connected discreetly to an illuminated nature.
Inspired aquarium covered in black pebbles in order to provide privacy and at the same time to create a striking focal point and welcoming feel upon entry, customized fiber optic.
Chandelier with artistic black geometric glass shelves to feature sculptures in the Foyer area. Swimming pool’s design concept was inspired by underwater world linked to a modern minimalistic interior to create a peaceful and vibrant ambiance for swimming.
