Nahal Gamini has been creating interiors for more than 15 years from hospitality to bespoke residential designs. She strives to create timeless and inspiring interiors with new elements informed by her travels and consistent visits of numerous design-build exhibitions.
She draws her inspirations from everything around the world, especially from nature. Her innate love for the natural world sometimes makes her wonder about the coincidence of her name meaning (Young tree in Farsi) and being born on Earth Day.
Creating indoor/outdoor feel and her passion for biophilic design tend to exceed her client’s deepest desires by enhancing a positive emotional and mental state on the outcome of her creations.
Nahal is always grateful for her eight years of experience in Roche Bobois designing some of the finest homes for prominent clients and learning everything about furniture customization with highest industry standards but eventually she started to shift her attention to Interior Architecture world with her partner’s support who is an amazing builder.
She truly believes knowledge is the power. After she graduated from Interior Design at BCIT, she decided to achieve her real estate license to have a deeper understanding of property developments. Currently Nahal is a candidate at CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) and working her way to achieve the designations and pursuing her Master’s in Interior Architecture & Design.
From analysis to concept creation, schematic design phases to custom furniture design and throughout construction process, she brings to the world a refreshing enthusiasm with wealth of knowledge and practical experience tailored to each client’s project. She starts with a white canvas and always push and challenge her creative boundaries to come up with a new concept and style. She enjoys creating minimalistic designs with indoor/outdoor feel as much as designing a luxury Parisian mansion with Nouveaux Classiques.
Nahal was born in Iran and raised in Vancouver. Her meticulous attention to details, distinctive style and ability to use and balance modern classic elements with contemporary accents has enabled her to transform and create original, unique and high quality interior design for exceptional properties internationally.
In her last business trip to Iran, after she discovered that her great grandfather (Ostad Haidar) was a famous master of Persian architecture & artist who designed Marble Palace and worked on various parts of the complex of Golestan palace for Reza Shah in Tehran and quite a few stunning mosques in Isfahan, everything started to make sense; pieces of puzzle came together for her insatiable appreciation to her roots, love and passion for Interior & architectural designs linking to the old world. Her main philosophy is to inspire clients with astonishing results that go beyond their expectations. Nahal intuitively knows how to create a strong connection with her clients through her innate capacity to listen, generous nature, open-mind and her artistic sensibility.
She can capture people’s dreams and embellish their life by always giving her best mentally, spiritually and physically.
